Rainham gig - thoughts
Heya folkies!
So I'm still buzzing from last nights Acoustic Sessions gig at the Oasthouse Theatre in Rainham. It was a lovely venue and a great, appreciative audience, thanks for coming along if you were one of the nearly 70 people who were there. Here is my setlist that I played: Unshakeable Faith
The Puppet Master
The Tower
Big Time
I Don't Write These Songs For Me (I Write Them For You) My Way or the Highway
House of the Rising Sun
Also my fellow performers were excellent. There were three other musicians and two poets! I'd like to take a moment now to introduce the other singer-songwriters to you.
Luke Bailey has a fantastic voice and a very unique, entertaining stage persona. Check him out here.
Jess Pender was the youngest performer and has a sweet voice, especially when she hits the high notes. Some of her music reminds me of Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks). Check her out here.
William Harper had some great songs, I especially liked Proud to be a Weirdo. He also knew how to work a crowd! Check him out here.
I really enjoyed the evening and would love to go back in the future. Why not check out one of the next sessions? They are every other month. Details here.
That's all for now folks, see you soon!
Ryan
