Upcoming 3rd album news
Hey folkies! I've been a busy bee recently, doing more gigs here around Kent and also writing songs for my upcoming third studio album! I think I'm happy with the final tracks now, should be about ten or so on there. I'm drawing on a number of musical and lyrical influences for this set of songs. These include: Bruce Springsteen, Emmylou Harris, Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Easton Corbin and Billy Currington. In terms of subject matter I'll be covering sex, fame, prostitution, love, loss and new life. I'm looking forward to recording them over the next few weeks. The working title for the album is One Step Back. Meanwhile gig-wise you can catch me playing in Dover on Friday December 1st from 8pm at the Blue Fish Cabaret wine bar (la Salle Verte) on Canon St, and also in Canterbury on Saturday 16th December from 8pm at Lily's Bistro on Palace Street. Maybe I'll try out one or two of the new album tracks there for y'all... That's all for now peeps!
